Team Frontend & Profile Overhaul

  • Interactive Perks Showcase:
  • Two-column layout on the team main page with clear arguments for solo drivers (24/7 dedicated server, exclusive setup & data hub, coin bonuses, team accident protection) and team owners (auto server provisioning, full T-Admin management, automatic coin flow, AI steward integration).
  • Modernized V5 Header: Clean header layout with title, subtitle, and direct quick access ("Create / Manage Team").
  • Profile Tab "History Point":
  • Consolidation of points history from race data and coin transaction history into a separate, clear profile tab.
  • Extended booking display to show the last 20 transactions with date, type, amount, and purpose.
  • RGB Border Effect for Shop Tab:
  • Subtle, animated multicolor glow on the outer border of the GR Coins Shop tab using modern CSS masking (mask-composite), without affecting label readability.

Forum & Editor Optimization

  • WYSIWYG & BBCode Quote Function Fixed: When inserting quotes ([quote]), the cursor is now automatically and reliably placed directly inside the editable quote block.
  • Global Blockquote Styling: Stylish quote boxes with red GR accent line (var(--primary)), subtle transparent background, and rounded corners.
  • Frontend Subforum & Category Creation: Moderators can now create new categories and subforums directly from the forum overview (forum_category_create.php), including icon, role, and parent category assignment.
  • Category Visibility Fixed: Threads in parent categories are now reliably rendered even when subforums exist.

Teams Navigation – Smart Consolidation

  • One Button for Everything: The separate "TEAMS" and "T-ADMIN" navigation entries have been merged into a single, intelligent "TEAMS" menu item.
  • *Team members* land directly on their own team page instead of the general overview.
  • *Drivers without a team* are directed to the full team overview as before.
  • Context-Aware Dropdown Menu: For team members, the TEAMS dropdown shows quick links to "My Team", "All Teams", and (with admin rights) "Team Management".
  • Seamless Page Switching: Navigate from your own team page to the full overview via "ALL TEAMS" and back via "MY TEAM".
  • T-Admin Integration: The team admin area is now accessible via a "SETTINGS" button directly on the team page and through the dropdown. A "Back to Team" link in the T-Admin sidebar returns you instantly.
  • Maintenance Page in Pit-Stop Design: Completely redesigned maintenance page matching the modern 404 design with HUD status badges, glowing typography, and integrated admin login modal.

Performance, Security & Backend Hardening

  • High-Performance Query Refactoring in Admin Panel:
  • Elimination of unindexed OR conditions in JOIN queries and integration of session-based schema caching in the Economy Admin.
  • Reduction of module load time from over 3,700 ms to under 50 ms.
  • Security Hardening via CSRF Protection: Complete CSRF token protection (\GR\Csrf) for all POST and AJAX actions in server management and UCP modules.
  • Modal Dialogs Instead of Native Browser Alerts: Replacement of all blocking alert() and confirm() prompts with modular UI dialogs (grInfo, grConfirm).
  • Server Chat & Broadcast Filtering: Precise server-side validation of server lists in chat automation prevents deactivated servers from unintentionally receiving broadcasts.
  • T-Admin Permission Checks: Module calls for co-admins in the team area are now strictly verified against assigned permissions via tadmin_require().

Server Management – Complete Feature Set

  • Unified ACC and ACE Management: Separate views list public GR servers while team and dynamic event stint servers remain hidden.
  • Server Lifecycle: Create servers with a name, game, and type (Main, Event, Training, Test, or Normal), provision from a template, edit, and delete them.
  • Process Control and Live Status: Start and stop servers without reloading the page; reconcile stored state with the actual Windows processes and refresh it every five seconds through AJAX.
  • ACC Configuration: Edit settings.json, event.json, eventRules.json, assistRules.json, and configuration.json in dedicated tabs.
  • ACE Configuration: Edit server_config.json, season_definition.json, and allowed vehicles; empty files receive defaults.
  • Form and Expert Modes: Edit JSON through explained fields, dropdowns, numeric, date, and time controls or as raw JSON; nested values are supported.
  • Race Weekend Configuration: Manage tracks, layouts, sessions, duration, time, weather, grip, access, rules, assists, pit stops, driver swaps, and tyre sets.
  • Port and File Safety: Derive TCP, UDP, HTTP, and broadcasting ports consistently as one related block, prevent collisions, and validate and atomically save JSON. After copying a server template, free ports are configured automatically and broadcasting.json is created.
  • ACE Vehicle Selection: Group vehicles from cars.json by class and select individual vehicles, classes, all vehicles, or none.
  • Preset System and Distribution: Save, load, edit, and delete complete configuration, entry-list, and broadcasting data, distribute it to multiple servers, and synchronize team tags globally.
  • Server Name Creator: Generate multi-line names, ASCII art, fancy type styles, and special characters with live preview and clipboard copying.
  • Central Server Chat: Load message history and refresh it every three seconds, retrieve older messages, write as an administrator, send anonymous broadcasts, and select drivers from messages.
  • Quick Commands: Use /test, /spam, /gr, /warn, /admin, /next, /restart, /kick, /ban, /dq, /clear, /clear_all, /tp5, /tp15, /dt, /sg10, /sg20, and /sg30.
  • Chat and Spam Automation: Configure recurring messages with sender, text, interval, and target servers, then save, load, and toggle them.
  • Multi-Server Actions: Restart all active servers together and switch between the complete overview and a single server.
  • Automatic Track Rotation: Configure rotation, interval, and random mode, rotate immediately, and manage tracks and layouts.
  • Agent and Collector Monitoring: Evaluate database state, status files, process lists, PID files, and heartbeats together for servers, the bridge agent, and telemetry collectors, absorbing short-lived status discrepancies.
  • JSON Integrity Guard: Remove BOMs, null bytes, trailing commas, and malformed control characters while reading, clean recursive structures, and preserve manually entered raw JSON when saving.
  • File-Based Bridge: Pass start, stop, and further system actions to the detached background bridge instead of executing them inside the web process.
  • Security and Auditing: Restrict actions to administrators or moderators, protect them with CSRF, validate inputs and paths, and log changes.

Telemetry and Live Analysis

  • 60 Hz Telemetry Pipeline: Lap starts, sectors, vehicle signals, tyre pressures, temperatures, collisions, and off-track events are processed through the API and importer and stored as session and lap data.
  • Professional Lap Analysis: Filters for season, server, track, and lap are combined with synchronized charts for speed, throttle, brake, steering, and RPM.
  • Tyres, Brakes, and Track Map: Pressure and temperature histories, a color-coded track heatmap, and a delta line reveal where time was gained or lost.
  • Browser-Friendly Downsampling: Large telemetry series are dynamically reduced so extensive 60 Hz data remains smooth in the browser.
  • Telemetry Leaderboard: Position, race number, driver, car, lap and sector times, consistency, and track progress are connected to direct lap-analysis links.
  • Live Minimap and Race Information: Active drivers, positions, gaps, pit state, flags, and vehicle classes are included in live data.
  • Silent Driver Tracking: Laps are collected by Steam ID before registration and linked to the driver profile after the account is connected.

Rankings and Event Automation

  • Separate Casual and Pro Rankings: Public-server performance uses best laps, activity, consistency, and track variety, while league results use event points, wins, podiums, poles, and fastest laps.
  • Tiers and Seasons: Both rankings have dedicated tiers, appear in profiles and the championship view, and can be archived or restarted per season.
  • Automatic Results Import: ACC result files are processed, laps and event results stored, DNFs detected, points calculated, and completed files archived.
  • Driver of the Day: A resolver closes votes, handles ties using race position, and awards the bonus in the Pro ranking.
  • Waitlist: Full events automatically place additional registrations on the waitlist and expose that state in the profile.
  • Team Balancing and Entry List: Snake draft distributes drivers by pace; starting drivers, co-drivers, and reserves can be adjusted and exported as entrylist.json.

Forum, Discord, and Attachments

  • Bidirectional Discord Forum Bridge: Threads, replies, edits, and deletions can be synchronized between the CMS and Discord Forum Channels, including multipart attachment transfers.
  • Emoji and Cleanup Logic: CMS smileys and Discord emojis are mapped, removed Discord threads are detected, and throttled lazy sync prevents synchronization loops.
  • Stabilized Forum Administration: Overview, settings, forum structure, post policies, thread management, attachments, word censoring, and permissions use explicit server-side ftab routes.
  • Structure and Moderation: Categories support parents, node types, rules, visibility, and role limits. Threads can be searched, pinned, locked, moved, and deleted.
  • Post Policies: Minimum and maximum length and posting cooldown are enforced server-side, while additional phpBB-style options are stored centrally.
  • Protected Forum Attachments: Multiple uploads support size, count, quota, file-type, and image-dimension limits, role permissions, and secure downloads.
  • Attachment Administration: Attachments, type groups, allowed extensions, storage usage, and orphaned files can be reviewed and cleaned up.

Teams, Background Services, and Platform

  • Automatic Team Server Provisioning: Dedicated ACC servers are created from a template with free ports, names, broadcasting.json, global bans, and the matching team_id.
  • Isolated T-Admin: Team owners and co-admins use a backend restricted to their own team_id, with dashboard, members, invitations, team data, downloads, forum, events, and bans.
  • Team Server Control Center: Servers can be started, stopped, restarted, reprovisioned, and configured by form or raw JSON, with optional AI Steward access.
  • Persistent Ban Hammer: Global and server-specific bans are embedded into entry lists with forcedCarModel: 99 and survive synchronization and restarts.
  • Windows and Linux Bridge: Background runners consume the command queue and execute web actions out of process; the Linux version remains active after SSH logout.
  • System Watchdog: The monitor checks servers and collectors, can restart crashed instances, and provides CPU, RAM, and network metrics.
  • Asynchronous Notifications: Dispatching, user preferences, and a database queue handle forum, news, event, and private-message emails with deduplication and retry logic.
  • Upload Hardening: Extensions and MIME types are validated, and supported Windows servers can additionally scan uploads with Windows Defender.
  • Internationalization V6: Seven languages, batched translation requests, LibreTranslate chunking, query optimization, and block caching reduce translation overhead.
  • Download Center: License-gated categories, multi-upload, administrator approval, slider CAPTCHA, featured releases, and counters provide a complete file archive.
  • Modular UI and Tools: Drag-and-drop sidebars, per-user themes, UltraWide layout, dynamic headers, and FOV, tyre-pressure, fuel, and setup tools complete the platform.

Planned – phpBB-Style User Control Panel (Not Yet Implemented)

  • State of Previous Work: The attempted UCP conversion was fully reverted with Git and must not be treated as a completed feature.
  • New Profile Routing: Owner tabs settings, messages, team, and contacts are to be replaced by one ucp tab and integrated cleanly into pages/profile.php.
  • Modular UCP Structure: pages/profile/ucp/ucp_layout.php is intended to control the Main, Profile, Preferences, Private Messages, User Groups, and Friends areas.
  • Two-Column Subpages: Modules such as ucp_prefs.php and ucp_profile.php should display subnavigation on the left and phpBB-style content on the right.
  • Safe Per-Form Saving: update_all_settings and update_ucp_prefs must process only submitted values through isset() so fields from unrelated subtabs are not overwritten with empty values.
  • Requested UCP Front Page: ucp_main.php should follow phpBB's ucp_main_front.html, showing important announcements from gr_forum_threads where is_announcement=1 and a “Your Activity” panel with registration, last activity, post count, and most active forum.

Forum Evolution

  • Structure & Topic Formats: The forum has grown into a complete community platform with nested categories, role- and team-based areas, configurable topic types and metadata, announcements, and integrated polls.
  • Modern Editor & Racing Context: Posts support a rich-text/BBCode editor, @mentions, and personal telemetry snippets from the member's own valid laps.
  • Community Features: Topics can be followed with individual notification and mute settings. Reactions, permanent post links, reports, and ignore actions are available directly on each post.
  • Live & Recognition: Active readers and members currently typing are shown live. Marking answers as solutions creates solved topics, reputation points, and awards for helpful members.
  • Moderation & Management: Moderators can edit categories and pin, lock, move, or merge topics. Individual posts can be moved or split into new topics; a report center, edit history, and notifications complete the moderation tools.

Driver DNA

  • Telemetry-Based Driver Profile: Driver DNA calculates pace, consistency, safety, aggression, trail braking, and car control from lap and telemetry data.
  • Archetypes & Signatures: It creates a driver archetype, strengths, and dynamic signed SVG banners for profiles, forum signatures, and Discord – including favorite tracks and recent laps.

German Racers Support Shop

  • Standalone Shop: The new support shop provides a product catalog, detail pages with galleries, variants, stock management, shopping cart, and coupon codes.
  • Checkout & Account: Members can save billing and delivery addresses, order via bank transfer or PayPal Friends, and view order history including payment and delivery status.
  • Shop Administration: The separate backend manages products, variants, images, orders, shipping and payment details, discounts, and coupons. An audit log records security- and administration-relevant activity.

Profile Hub Completely Redesigned

  • New Overview & Driver DNA: The profile overview was reorganized and now shows the personal Driver DNA directly in the account.
  • Extended Statistics: A dedicated forum statistic was added alongside racing statistics, making community activity visible in the profile as well.
  • Choose the Public Record: A dropdown lets every member choose which server or track record appears on the public profile. This also makes intentionally longer laps, such as on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, visible instead of automatically showing only the shortest best lap.
  • Teams & Events Reorganized: The team area was fully rebuilt, including clearer lists and a direct button to team settings. The events tab now clearly separates running and completed events.
  • Communication Centralized: Messages, contacts, and formerly separate communication paths are bundled in one communication hub; a separate friends tab is no longer needed.
  • Account Settings Structured: Personal data, game information, and site settings are now organized as clearly separate areas instead of being mixed with other account options.
  • Identity and Discord Mapping Fixed: A bug that could display another user's name in the current profile was fixed. Discord names are no longer incorrectly adopted as driver names, restoring clear and reliable profile and driver assignments.

T-Admin & Team Permissions

  • Co-Admin Permissions Fixed and Simplified: The role logic for co-administrators was cleaned up. With the co-admin role, team members can now reliably process applications, manage team and server data, and use the intended team areas.
  • No More Duplicate Per-Feature Permissions: Separate permissions for servers, forum, downloads, bans, and other individual areas are no longer additionally required. The co-admin role is now the central and reliable permission.

Events & Registration

  • Admin Direct Access: Administrators can now open the administration view for the current event directly from the public event details.
  • Registration State Clean-up: Registered drivers now only see the appropriate unregister action; duplicate registration indicators were removed.
  • Complete Translations: Missing text on the events page is now available in the German and English page language files.

Ranking

  • Load More: Server rankings still start with 100 entries. The new button loads 50 additional results at a time until every available driver is visible.

Language Files & Localization

  • Translations Thoroughly Cleaned Up: Numerous missing, incorrect, or unresolved language keys were corrected across the frontend, home page, administration areas, and further modules. German and English interfaces now use consistent, understandable text again.

System & Presentation

  • Logo Refresh: The German Racers logo and related browser icons were modernized and unified.
  • New Page Layout: The three-column system is now reserved specifically for the home page. All other pages use a focused two-column layout with navigation or modules on the left and the relevant page content on the right.
  • Favicon Updated: A dedicated, tightly cropped browser icon replaces the former header logo.
  • Changelog Connection Fixed: The changelog page now loads the German and English files from the correct docs directory.

  • Tab 2 — Header & Banner: Banner upload, URL, height, and Name/Subname/Tagline each with font and size grouped side by side.
  • Tab 3 — Hero Section: Visibility toggles (Left, Right, Bottom, Discord, Live) as clear toggle cards.
  • Tab 4 — Advanced: Custom CSS textarea and footer text.
  • Custom CSS Field: New textarea for global custom CSS directly in the admin panel.
  • All Inline Styles Removed: All style="..." attributes replaced with CSS classes.
  • Theme Colors for All 10 Themes: New CSS classes (.tcf-section, .tcf-input, .hero-toggle-card, etc.) added to all theme files with individual color schemes.

🔧 System Settings (Tab System Redesign)

  • 5-Tab Structure: The settings page was split into clear tabs:
  • Tab 1 — Website: Name, URL, Logo, Tagline, Footer, Email.
  • Tab 2 — Interfaces: Discord (all IDs/Tokens), Steam API, Xbox/Azure, MOTD.
  • Tab 3 — Features: Maintenance mode, Results/Page, Ranking, Downloads role, ACC path.

📅 Event Manager (Server Deployment & Discord Sync)

  • Fully Automated Server Deployment (event.json & eventRules.json): The "DEPLOY JSON" button now not only transfers the entrylist, but completely configures the ACC server! All event settings (ambient/track temperature, rain, cloud level, weather randomness) as well as the sessions (practice, qualifying, race including ingame time, day and multiplier) are written live to the event.json. In addition, all pit stop rules are exported to the eventRules.json.
  • Settings.json Integration: The fields for max_entries (maximum drivers), password, spectator_password and the vehicle class (carGroup) are now seamlessly transferred to the server's settings.json during deployment.
  • Round-Specific Deployment for Cup Events: For Cup events with multiple tracks/rounds, a dropdown menu now appears during deployment. This allows you to select exactly which Cup round (including the specific track and sessions) the server should be configured for.
  • Rich Discord Integration: The Discord Scheduled Event is now fully automatically enriched with important metadata in the background. The description on Discord now includes (invisible to the website) the selected vehicle class, max. driver count, track, event type and a detailed list of the sessions (e.g. "Practice: 30 Min | Qualifying: 15 Min | Race: 60 Min"). In addition, this info was added to the neat embed box (channel announcement).

📅 Event Manager (Overhaul & Cup System)

  • Season Races & Cup Calendar: Implemented a comprehensive cup system for ACC events. Admins can now create and manage pre-defined race calendars with multiple rounds and tracks directly in the backend (saved to event_races).
  • Team Balancing & Driver Swaps: Added a new feature to enable team balancing. Admins can select specific drivers in generated teams and directly swap their roles (starting driver vs. co-driver) using a dedicated swap button.
  • Entrylist Generation: Fully integrated entrylist creation. ACC server JSON files can now be generated automatically based on the configured teams and deployed directly to the target servers.
  • Architecture Splitting: The monolithic event_admin.php file (1,200+ lines) was decoupled into manageable, modular sub-components (tab_acc.php and edit_event.php) to maximize maintainability and scalability for future games.
  • UI/UX: Custom Multi-Select: The old, clunky multi-select dropdown for car selection (ACC) was replaced by a modern, space-saving custom checkbox dropdown UI.
  • Premium DateTime Picker: Native date and time input fields were replaced with an interactive dark-mode calendar pop-up (Flatpickr), making the scheduling of events and cup rounds significantly more comfortable.
  • Theme Synchronization & Hardcode Cleanup:
  • Dynamic Design: All hardcoded color values (#333, #FF007F, rgba(...)) within the event modules were completely removed and replaced with official theme CSS variables (var(--adm-bg), var(--adm-red), etc.).
  • Theme Update: Missing variables (--adm-danger, --adm-accent) were injected into the configuration files (admin.css) of *all 10 themes*, ensuring flawless and consistent backend layout rendering regardless of the active theme.

👥 Members Management (Merge Fix)

  • Account Merge Logic Stabilized: Fixed a critical Duplicate entry database error during user account merging. Secondary accounts (including discord_id) are now safely cleared and prioritized before data is transferred to the primary account, preventing unique constraint violations.

📝 WYSIWYG & BBCode Editor (Real-time Formatting & Downloads Integration)

  • Real-time BBCode Parser (Typing & Pasting):
  • Paste Interceptor: Pasting raw BBCode blocks (e.g. [b]...[/b], [size=...]) now intercepts the clipboard, parses it into styled HTML, and inserts it seamlessly without breaking layout.
  • Caret-Preserving Live Parsing: Typing BBCode tags manually now automatically triggers formatting on typing closing brackets (]), Enter, or space. A virtual caret marker keeps the text cursor at the exact typing position.
  • Auto-Formatting on Blur: Leaving the editor container (blur event) automatically converts any remaining raw BBCode syntax into styled visual elements.
  • WYSIWYG Integration in Downloads:
  • The shared WYSIWYG editor has been fully integrated into the downloads area (both frontend pages/downloads.php and backend admin/modules/downloads.php).
  • Redundant inline script blocks and outdated legacy color pickers were fully cleaned up.
  • Dynamic Path Resolution:
  • Image uploads and emoticon asset paths within rich_editor.php now dynamically adjust context based on location (detecting /admin/ vs root directories) to prevent 404 pathing bugs.
  • Screenshot Drag & Drop Compatibility:
  • Refactored insertAtCursor helper for screenshots: dynamically detects active WYSIWYG canvases and inserts files inline as HTML rather than plain text BBCode tags.
